The New Jersey Department of Education mandates passing the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) as a requirement for graduation. This year’s HSPA will be administered on March 4, 5 and 6. As was done last year, in an effort to provide an optimum environment for students taking this highly important assessment, we will be implementing a modified school schedule on these days. During HSPA testing, we will be running two bus schedules:
- Students taking the HSPA will get on their buses at their regular time. This includes all juniors, seniors who are retesting, and seniors who have transferred in from other states.
- All other students will get on their usual buses two and a half hours later than their normal departure times. Upon arrival to campus, these students who are not participating in the HSPA testing will enter into the Main Gym and remain there until they are dismissed at the conclusion of testing.
- All students will go home on their normal buses at the end of the school day.
