The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District is comprised of North Hunterdon High School located in Annandale, NJ and Voorhees High School located in Glen Gardner, NJ. All together, we educate about 2,450 students from 12 different municipalities. We also have one of the largest Board of Education in the state with 12 members, who each have a weighted vote.
Our high schools are nationally ranked amongst the best public high schools in the country and we are currently in the top 40 high schools in the state of New Jersey. Both high schools have been selected as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, with North Hunterdon High School receiving the honor in 2001 and Voorhees High School in 2015.
We strive to provide our students with every opportunity to succeed through our diverse and rigorous curriculum, which includes vocational courses at nearby Hunterdon County Polytech, our numerous student activities, and our highly successful athletic program.

- Our district covers approximately 178 square miles of northern Hunterdon County, NJ. We border Morris, Somerset, and Warren Counties. We are one of the largest school districts in the state in terms of area.

- We employ over 450 full time staff with over 50% of our faculty having Master’s degrees in their field.

District Goals for 2022-2023 School Year:
- To seek creative solutions to address current and future budget challenges.
- Suggested areas include: conduct a successful referendum campaign to attain State Debt Service Aid for necessary capital projects; development of Standard Operating Procedures for payment of stipends per NHVEA schedules to standardize procedures district-wide and increase efficiency; and other areas as recommended by administration to achieve cost savings to offset budget areas experiencing inflationary increases.

- To continue to monitor and address the effects of lost instruction on student achievement.
- To continue to focus on social-emotional learning (SEL) and mental health supports for students and staff.
