Jonathan Slusher was a Voorhees runner in the 1980s and was a member of the Championship X-Country team winning the Mid-States Conference. Racing and journalism were his passions and he was editor of the Hunterdon Review until his passing from brain cancer in 2010. He was intelligent, kind, and very courageous and is sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. So his family has chosen to honor him through the annual races and scholarships.
