The North Hunterdon High School Student Council was honored with three state awards at the New Jersey Association of Student Councils Awards Ceremony on May 16 at Six Flags Great Adventure.
The Student Council received a Community Smile Award for the total number of hours of community service completed by a school. The second award was the $5,000 Award, which is awarded to schools who donated $5,000 or more to the state charity (Hugs for Brady) – North Hunterdon High School donated $6,500 this year. The third — and most pretigious — award won by the council was 2nd Place for overall donations and charitable works.
