Course Description
This course consists of units on the Renaissance; the rise of civilizations in the Americas; the impact of nationalism and imperialism in the 18 th , 19 th , and 20 th centuries; the global conflicts of the 20 th century; and international rivalry, as well as global interdependence in the modern world. The lessons of history and geography will help each of you make informed decisions about economic, cultural, and political questions facing our independent world.
