FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a local, state, and national organization whose mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.  Students interested in many topics in leadership and/or business can learn new skills, make new friends, and earn scholarship money.

FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private school through grade 12.  The mission of FCCLA is To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through: character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.

LAN/Tech Club Our club consists of individuals who are interested in all aspects of gaming. We get together to share our information, interest, and experiences with gaming. Primarily, we focus on organizing and taking part in LAN Parties which take place on five Fridays throughout the school year from roughly 3:30 to 8pm. At these parties, our members bring in their consoles and computers and play game in each other’s company.

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is the only student organization devoted exclusively to the needs of technology education students. Open to students who are enrolled in, or who have completed, technology education courses, TSA is comprised of over 190,000 elementary, middle, and high school students in 2,000 schools spanning 48 states.

What is Practical Arts?

The practical Arts Department is comprised of three sub-departments.  They are Business, Technology Education and Family & Consumer Science.   Every student at Voorhees is required to take a minimum of five practical arts credits.  They may elect to take their practical arts credit anytime throughout their high school career.
