Public Notice – Contract Hearing for the Superintendent of Schools
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District Board of Education (hereinafter the “Board”) is providing notice of its intent to hold a public hearing and to take action to amend, extend, renegotiate and/or alter contract terms and conditions of the North Hunterdon Voorhees Regional High School District (hereinafter the “District”) Superintendent of Schools at its
regular meeting to be held at the District Administration Office, located at 1445 State Route 31, Annandale, NJ 08801, on June 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
Section 5 of the Act amended N.J.S.A. 18A: 11-11 requires boards of education to provide public notice 10 days prior to the renegotiation, extension, amendment, or alteration of an employment contract with the Superintendent of Schools. This advertisement provides the said public notice, and has been posted on the District’s website on June 17, 2022.
The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District Board of Education hereby designates
starting at 7:00 pm in the District office located at 1445 State Route 31, Annandale, NJ 08801, as the public hearing required by the Act, after which the Board may take action to amend the Superintendent
of Schools’ contract. Prior to this action, the Board will permit the public to make comments on the
proposed contract at the aforementioned meeting. The Board, pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act,
specifically N.J.S.A. 10:4-12 (b), shall not publicly discuss personnel matters. However, the Board will give
all comments appropriate consideration. A copy of the contracts are on file and available for review by the public at the office of the Board Secretary, located at 1445 State Route 31, Annandale, NJ 08801.
The Board, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12 (b), the Open Public Meetings Act, shall not publicly discuss personnel matters and shall not respond to comments made by members of the public. Please be aware that the subject of this hearing retains the right of privacy and shall retain all rights regarding defamation and slander according to the laws of New Jersey. The Board shall not be held liable for comments made by members of the public.
