On December 13, 2013, the Voorhees High School Spanish Club will be hosting a Latin-inspired buffet dinner and holiday bazaar to benefit “Casa de Los Angeles” in Mexico, a center that cares for children, providing them with clothing, food and medical attention.
The dinner will begin at 5:30pm in the main cafeteria at Voorhees and tickets are $5.00 at the door. In addition to dinner, there will be vendors selling items such as jewelry, plants and holiday centerpieces, scarves and student artwork.
The Spanish Club is working in conjunction with Talaverica, a local company and family in the school district (http://www.talaverica.com/). One hundred percent of the proceeds from the dinner will go to Casa de Los Angeles and Talaverica has promised to donate 100% of their profit to the cause as well.
The Spanish Club hopes you can join them for this special event.
