VHS Class of 2026 and Parents/Guardians –
The VHS Class of 2026 Advisors and Class Leadership have organized two class trips for the VHS Class of 2026 to have some fun celebrating their last few weeks as Voorhees Vikings:
Dinner Cruise – Monday, May 18
First, a Dinner Cruise around New York City Harbor on Monday, May 18, 2026. The itinerary is to leave VHS at approximately 3pm and take coach buses to Weehawkin, NJ (City Cruises Dinner Cruise). You will board the cruise ship at 5:30, cruise NYC Harbor until roughly 8:30, hop back on the buses and arrive back to VHS at approximately 9:30. While on board, there will be a DJ, a buffet style dinner, soft drinks/water as well as the ability to go on the top deck to check out an up close view of the Statue of Liberty & the Manhattan skyline. If you are worried about it being a late night, there will be state testing on Tuesday, May 19 and members of the Class of 2026 will be able to arrive for classes on a 2 1/2 hour delay testing schedule.
The cost of the Dinner Cruise is $120. Further information, permission slips, and tickets can be purchased at https://omella.com/4wrffthrough Friday, April 24 at 11:59pm.
Dorney Park – Tuesday, June 2
Second, a trip to Dorney Park on Tuesday, June 2. The itinerary begins with a bagel breakfast in the Main Cafe (no charge to Class of 2026 members). You’ll board the coach buses just after 9am. Arrival at Dorney Park at 10:30am (Dorney opens at 10:30am, Wildwater Kingdom at 11am). You’ll leave Dorney at 6pm (when the park closes) with the buses returning to VHS at 7pm. Attendees will be responsible for their own food and beverages while at the park. Daily meal plans can be purchased on the Dorney Park website/app. Dorney Park is cashless but does have a machine to turn cash into a card that can be used throughout the park.
The cost of the Dorney trip is $65. This is for both the admission into the park and the cost of the coach buses. If an attendee has a season pass to Dorney Park (and doesn’t need a ticket to gain entry) then the cost for the coach bus is $30.
Further information, permission slips and tickets can be purchased athttps://omella.com/0t0f6through May 10, 2026 at 11:59pm.
In both cases, there is a small fee for purchasing with a credit/debit card. That fee can be avoided however by setting up payment through a checking account.
