Voorhees High School Annual Non-Perishable Food Drive
October 19–23, 2026
The Voorhees High School Key Club is excited to announce our Annual Non-Perishable Food Drive, taking place Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23! This annual tradition is an incredible opportunity for our school community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families in need during the holiday season. All donations will directly benefit families within our community, helping ensure they have food on their tables during the holidays.
Where to Donate:
- VHS Students & Staff: All non-perishable food donations should be placed in the green bins outside of Room 135 (across from the elevators on the first floor).
- Community Members: Donations can be dropped off on the shelves at the main entrance of VHS (between the two sets of doors). After dropping off donations, please send an email to vhskeyclub@nhvweb.net so we can properly account for your contribution.
Spiritfest Competition – Every Donation Counts!
Our Food Drive is also a major part of our annual Spiritfest Competition! Each grade will compete to collect the most food, with donations contributing directly to their class’s overall Spiritfest score. The more food your grade collects, the better your chances of winning Spiritfest!
To make things even more exciting, donations will earn different point multipliers throughout the week:
| Day | Point Multiplier | Bonus Items (Worth Double) |
|---|---|---|
| Monday, Oct. 19 | 4x Points | Pasta & Pasta Sauce |
| Tuesday, Oct. 20 | 3x Points | Canned Yams |
| Wednesday, Oct. 21 | 2x Points | Boxed Mashed Potatoes & Gravy |
| Thursday, Oct. 22 | 1x Points | Peanut Butter & Jelly |
| Friday, Oct. 23 | 5x Points | Canned Vegetables |
Students are encouraged to bring in as many non-perishable items as possible, especially the featured bonus items each day!
While Spiritfest bragging rights are on the line, the real winners are the families in our community who will benefit from your generosity. Every can, box, and donation makes a difference!
Thank you for continuing to make this annual event such a meaningful tradition at Voorhees High School. Let’s make this year’s Food Drive our biggest and most successful one yet!
