Bob graduated high school in 1976 and headed to The College of New Jersey, formerly known as Trenton State. Bob graduated in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Administration.  Bob has been a fixture in the Voorhees community for years.  Aside from multiple coaching and volunteering experiences, Bob has also served as a school board and town council president for the Borough of Hampton.  He first became involved with Voorhees Junior Wrestling in 1999.  For ten years he was not only a coach and an officer but an integral part of the organizations’ success.  In 2012, following his son Steven’s graduation, Bob enthusiastically joined the Voorhees High School coaching staff.  Bob was immediately a great fit for the program.  Bob assumed many of the important roles of a good assistant coach, including helping develop and coach the junior varsity team, helping organize and collaborate with charitable fundraising (Pinning & Winning for a Purpose), communicating regularly with the local community, parents, and fan base, and helping research and scout viable/key opponents. Bob is a “Rutgers Certified” coach and is also a USA Wrestling bronze certification level coach.  In his spare time, Bob enjoys the beach and vacationing in Florida.  Coach Baker has two children, Bobby Jr., and Steven.  He currently resides in Hampton, NJ with his wife Eileen and their dog “Buddy.”
