Congratulations to the Lions Football team for defeating the Tornadoes of Orange HS 26-9 in the First Round of the NJSIAA State North 2 Group 4 Tournament.
Matt Busher threw for 69 yards and rushed for 87 yards and scored a TD. Luke Wain rushed for 80 yards and 2 TD’s and Griffin had 39 yards receiving. Jared McMahon had an interception to lead the defense.The Lions will host the Sayreville Bombers in the Second Round of the NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 State Football Tournament on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7pm.
