Sean Walsh likes to talk about his team.
“It is all about the girls,” said North Hunterdon’s 13-year girls track and field coach. “Our success isn’t a tribute to our coaching staff, it’s a tribute to the girls. I don’t think any of the success we have had happens if the girls don’t care about creating success, and when they care about each other, that is what makes it fun, no matter what the results are.”
Walsh is considerably less excited to talk about himself, so here are two of his runners to help explain why he is the 2017 lehighvalleylive Track and Field Coach of the Year.
