Mason Spichiger, Taylor Knoble, and Jen Inamoto each had run-scoring hits for North Hunterdon in the top of the 11th inning en route to a three-run inning as North Hunterdon defeated High Point in Wantage.
Spichiger struck out nine and walked two while allowing four hits and no earned runs for North Hunterdon while she had three hits on offense and Knoble had two. Allyson Frei struck out 20 and walked two while allowing seven hits and two earned runs for High Point.
North Hunterdon was seeded second on the Hunterdon/Warren side of the bracket while High Point was the top Sussex County seed and ranked 7th in NJ. The game was tied, 0-0, after nine innings.
