Congratulations to the varsity Baseball team for defeating Westfield HS, #1 ranked in Union County and #7 in Group 4 NJSIAA, 6-1 in Annandale, NJ. Matt Busher threw 6 shutout innings and had 7 K’s. Justin Holderbaum finished out the 7th inning in relief. Dean Severini was 3-3 at the plate and Mike Pierce went 2-3. The Lions have won 3 of their last 5 games and are now 7-2 overall.
