BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Shaddow began his tenure as Superintendent of Schools for the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District in July of 1998. Prior to his arrival, Dr. Shaddow served as Administrative Principal for Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio from 1990 until 1998. He also served as Principal of John Adams High School in Cleveland, Ohio from 1987 until 1990.
During Dr. Shaddow’s professional career in public education, he has served as a teacher, social studies department chairperson, assistant principal, principal and superintendent in urban, suburban and semi-rural school districts. He has also served as an adjunct professor at John Carroll University.
Dr. Shaddow has been selected to Chair several professional educational teams, which evaluate the effectiveness of high schools. He has presented workshops and lectures on the university, state, and national levels. Presently, he is President of the Hunterdon County Association of School Administrators. During his presidency, he developed a successful support/discussion group for new superintendents. He also planned and coordinated the joint Morris-Hunterdon County Superintendents’ Professional Development workshop in March 2008. Since 2000, he has served as Chair for the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Articulation Group, which promotes shared services and dialogue on various educational topics, i.e., curriculum, transportation and technology. Dr. Shaddow has also been appointed to the NJASA Statewide Public Relations Sub-committee.
