An email was sent this morning for all students to cast their vote for this year’s Homecoming King and Queen. Be sure to take a look at the video created by Student Council about the 6 members of the court and cast your vote by Friday afternoon.
Banned Book Week is all this week and in lieu of this event, the National English Honors Society will have buttons in the library promoting this year’s theme – the freedom to read books of your choice. Stop by the Media Center and pick up a button.

The Class of 2023 is holding a Class Council interest meeting TODAY from 2:30 to 3:10 in room 161. The Council would like to reach out to any Junior interested in helping out with fundraising, brainstorming about prom, or getting more involved with the class. They hope to see you there!

ATTENTION ALL SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS: ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20, THERE WILL BE A FIELD TRIP TO HUNTERDON COUNTY POLYTECH FOR ANY SOPHOMORE OR JUNIOR INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT POLYTECH PROGRAMS. ALL SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND THEIR PARENTS HAVE BEEN EMAILED A PERMISSION SLIP. ALL PERMISSION SLIPS MUST BE HANDED TO MRS. TURKUS IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE BY OCTOBER 6 FOR STUDENTS WHO WISH TO ATTEND THE TRIP.
Voorhees FCCLA has partnered with Operation Jersey Cares to provide much needed items to NJ Residents who have lost so much as a result of Hurricane Ida. A list of items has been emailed to students, staff, and parents/guardians – there are also flyers throughout the building. You can drop off any donations to Room 210. There will also be a drop off box near the security desk as of Thursday.
