Voorhees’ Relay For Life Daffodil and Assorted Flower Sale has been extended to Friday 2/25. Flowers can be ordered via the Google Form that was sent to student/parent emails. All proceeds directly benefit our Relay For Life event on June 3rd and our fundraising goal of $50,000. The Relay For Life Committee appreciates your support.
Relay For Life is calling all relayers to participate in a fundraising competition which started last Friday. Each team is challenged to raise $100 by the end of this week (Friday the 25th). Each team who successfully raises the money will receive a prize. Good luck!
The Voorhees Key Club’s blanket drive ends Monday, February 28th. Green bins will be placed outside of the cafeteria in front of the school in which you can drop off the blankets. Any blankets will be accepted as long as they are new. This includes baby blankets, quilts and large blankets. Check your email for more details.
There will be a Blood Drive in the back gym TODAY from 7:45 to 12:15. Check your email and the VHS Website for registration information and the necessary paperwork.
Relay For Life is holding a pizza sale TODAY after school from 12:00 to 12:30. Pizza will be sold for $2 and all proceeds will go towards their fundraising goal of $50,000 for the American Cancer Society
German club is having a bake sale on TOMORROW after school and the proceeds will go to the cat shelter Tabby’s Place

The annual Voorhees High School Pops Concert will be held TOMORROW at 7:00 pm in the VHS auditorium. This year, members of the Voorhees Concert Band, String Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Marching Band will perform musical selections from Disney animated film favorites. This concert is unlike other concert performances throughout the year as, in addition to music, it features lighting effects, choreographed routines, and a less conventional staging of performers. Tickets are $10 and now on sale! Tickets can be purchased in advance by completing the ticket order form that was emailed and posted to the VHS Website and sending it to Mr. Reynolds.
Habitat for Humanity is hosting a 3 v 3 basketball tournament on 3/7 after school. If you are interested in making a team, please stop by room 337 to pick up a form. There will be a Dunkin Gift Card for the winning team.
Unified Basketball had a huge win over Hunterdon Central yesterday with a buzzer beater play by Will Letters, Daylen Joyce, and the winning bucket by William Lyons! William Lyons led the team with 18 points and Jacob “Jay Z” Zuniga added to points to the win. Great team effort by all!
Shout out to the Boys Fencing Squad for handing CBA their 2nd loss of the season yesterday by a score of 15-12 to improve their record to 11-3 on the season.
Fencers are taking on Hackettstown tonight at 6 – Senior Night.
