All Students -PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL regarding testing for TOMORROW. Seniors – you were sent an email FRIDAY from Mrs. Cantagallo with room assignments for the Start Strong Science Assessment and instructions regarding arrival time. You should report to your testing rooms at 9am. Have your chromebook (hopefully charged) as well as your charger with you. There will only be one bus run – at usual time. Those of you taking the bus will report to the Auditorium at 7:45 until released for testing.
Freshmen – Juniors (a few seniors) will be taking the PSAT so your room assignment are being sent from Mrs. Kim. Students must bring two No. 2 pencils, a calculator, and their student ID or driver’s license. College Board directives prohibit backpacks, handbags, cell phones, any other electronic devices, food, and water bottles in the testing areas. Please leave these items in lockers during testing.
Again, just take a look at your email regarding testing TOMORROW.

The Voorhees School Store online clothing fundraiser ends TODAY. This year’s fundraiser will be through Destination Athlete. All orders will be placed online and picked up at the school store, located in the New Cafe, once they are in. Check your email or the flyers up around the building for more info.
Freshman class…..please complete the spiritfest Google Form sent out by Mr. Collins at your earliest convenience. This will be used to invite you to decorating on the 27th and to invite you to join the skit performance.
The class of 2022 will be having a meeting after school in room 337 on Wednesday, Oct 13 for all interested people for spirit fest
Attention all Math-a-letes! It’s time to put your math game on for the first math contest of this school year. To enter the contest, you must join the Google Classroom (the code has been emailed to all students) and then submit your results on the Google Form link provided to you. The contest will be open from 7:30 am,Tuesday 10/12/21 – Friday 10/15/21, and closes promptly at 2:25 pm on Friday.

Voorhees FCCLA has partnered with Operation Jersey Cares to provide much needed items to NJ Residents who have lost so much as a result of Hurricane Ida. A list of items has been emailed to students, staff, and parents/guardians – there are also flyers throughout the building. You can drop off any donations to Room 210. There will also be a drop off box near the security desk as of Thursday.
The Environmental Sustainability and Engineering Academy is hosting a Fall Flower Bulb Fundraiser until November 3. A variety of bulbs are available in packets for $10. Please see Ms. Stillwell or an academy student for more details or to order
The Marching Band had a successful weekend at a competition at Somerville High School where they won awards for Best Music, Best Visual, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion and came in 1st place in their group beating Bernards and South Hunterdon. The Viking Band will compete this Saturday at Mount Olive High School.
