Attention Students who Ski or Snowboard –
VHS Ski Club is hosting a trip to Elk Mountain on March 5th, 2022. We are holding an interest meeting TONIGHT at 8:00 pm on Zoom. The zoom link has been emailed to you and posted on the VHS Website. Registration forms can be picked up outside of room 144 as of TODAY or can be found on the Ski Club website below. A recording of the Zoom meeting will be posted to the website for anyone that can’t attend. If you have any questions, please contact advisors Kera Luckhardt or Melanie Kerr.

In Korba Cup Hockey action of two unbeatens yesterday, Chris Quartuccio’s Fighting Squirrels remained undefeated when they broke a 1-1 deadlock against John Newell’s Polar bears on a Spencer Smit breakaway goal with 12 seconds left in the game. In the second game Fin Bruton and Will Keisers’ young Bombers squad continued to impress with a dominant 4-1 win over Ricky Stranges scrappy Hilltoppers team. Korba cup action continues today after school in the back gym.
The 2022 YMCA Model UN Conference was held virtually this year from January 7-9, 2022 with 34 school delegations represented. Congratulations to the Voorhees High School Model UN delegation as they were recognized as an Outstanding Delegation at the conference! In addition, Thomas Larsen was recognized as a Premier Diplomat for the International Court of Justice and Abby LaPointe was named a delegate for the Conference on National Affairs. Congratulations to Thomas and Abby!
