Media Center Closures – TODAY, it will be closed after lunches.
Starting tomorrow (and through Wednesday 5/20), the following study halls will move to the new cafe – Blocks 1, 3, 4, 8 due to concert preparations.
The Boys Lax team is selling tickets for their Salute to Service Game during lunches beginning TODAY and through next week. The game is Thursday 5/21 and all proceeds go to the Wounded Warriors Project. See any member of the boys lacrosse team for details.
There will be a Gaming Club Party TODAY starting at 3:15pm in the New Cafe. Entry will be $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Contact Mr. Barbieri with any questions.
For those of you attending the Class of 2029 Movie Night on the turf TONIGHT, please check your email for some very important info. The event begins at 7 but Kona Ice, Playa Bowls and Marley’s Pizza food trucks will be here at 5:30 in the grass next to the snack bar. You’ll enter the turf at the base of the ramp. Bags are allowed but will be checked upon entry. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit/lay on. Be aware that once you exit the area of the event, you will not be allowed to return (no running back and forth to the parking lot). Don’t be the reason why this is the last movie night on the turf.
The VHS History Honor Society will be running our Field of Flags Memorial Day fundraiser to honor our fallen soldiers, and all proceeds will go to our Local VFW 5119. Flags will be placed outside Voorhees High School along route 513 before Memorial Day weekend. Flags can still be purchased directly to Mrs Bischoff. 1 flag is $1.00, and 6 flags are $5.00
The VHS Class of 2029 is hosting a car wash this Saturday 5/16 from 10am to 2pm in front of the school. The cost to get your vehicle washed is $10.
Freshmen – Mrs. Cantagallo-Rohm sent out Monday’s testing rooms in an email. Please check to make sure you report to the correct room on Monday 5/18. A reminder to bring your chromebook, charger, ID and wired headphones on Monday. It would be a good idea for all students to check their email with the testing information/schedule for next week.
There will be a girls volleyball interest meeting on Wednesday May 20th at 2:30 in room 212. For ANY and all players that are interested in playing volleyball next year.
For those of you interested in auditioning for next year’s Madrigals Choir or Bass Choir, there will be an Open Rehearsal and meeting in room 110 on Thursday 5/21 after school. See Mr. Finck with any questions.
Girls tennis will have a pre-season meeting on Thursday, May 21st in room 262 at 2:30. All girls who plan to try-out should be in attendance. Please reach out to Coach Collins or Coach Franz with any questions.
