Business education is a broad, comprehensive discipline appealing to a wide spectrum of young adults. The instructional program encompasses primarily:
1. Knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed by all citizens in order to manage effectively their personal needs and to understand the global business and economic systems
2. Knowledge and skills needed for entry-level employment and advancement in a broad range of business careers
Business education attracts students with varying objectives, native abilities, attitudes, socio-economic backgrounds, ethnic heritages, and ages. It is an attractive field for students because they perceive it as one that is relevant. Further, because business, industry and government need employees of varying capabilities, programs are available for students of all abilities
