Vikes, Our annual Spirit Fest competition will begin this coming Monday (October 20).  One of the most important events that occur during this is our Non-Perishable Food Drive.  Each year we host this food drive to help local families in need.  The food brought in allows these families to enjoy a holiday season that they wouldn’t be able to have otherwise.  Food items can be brought in and dropped off in the green bins outside of room 135 which is right across from the elevators on the first floor.  Key club advisors and officers will weigh the food to see which grade brings in the most!  There are bonus items which include:

  • Monday, October 20 – Peanut Butter and Jelly – worth 4 times the points
  • Tuesday, October 21 – Cornbread Mix – worth 3 times the points
  • Wednesday, October 22 – Canned Sweet Potatoes – worth 2 times the points
  • Thursday, October 23 – Stuffing Mix – worth 1 times the points
  • Friday, October 24 – Canned Vegetables – worth 5 TIMES THE POINTS!

Skiers and Snowboarders – please check your email for very important information regarding the VHS Ski & Snowboard Club trips to Blue Mountain in January and February. Registration information can be found outside rooms 317 and 318 as well as in your email.  Bus spots will fill up quickly so don’t wait.
