The class of 2029 (Freshman) will have a decorating meeting TODAY AND TOMORROW from 2:30-3:10 in room 262.
The themed dress day for Tuesday is Jersey Day so feel free to rep your favorite team. Maybe even wear a Voorhees Jersey if you feel so inclined. Participation will be collected during Block 1.
Our annual Spirit Fest competition will begin this coming Monday (October 20). One of the most important events that occur during this is our Non-Perishable Food Drive. Each year we host this food drive to help local families in need. The food brought in allows these families to enjoy a holiday season that they wouldn’t be able to have otherwise. Food items can be brought in and dropped off in the green bins outside of room 135 which is right across from the elevators on the first floor. Key club advisors and officers will weigh the food to see which grade brings in the most! There are bonus items which include:
- Tuesday, October 21 – Cornbread Mix – worth 3 times the points
- Wednesday, October 22 – Canned Sweet Potatoes – worth 2 times the points
- Thursday, October 23 – Stuffing Mix – worth 1 times the points
- Friday, October 24 – Canned Vegetables – worth 5 TIMES THE POINTS!
The PRIDE club will be selling Boo Bags during lunches this week. For $2 you can purchase a small bag of candy and have it delivered to a friend, significant other, or just another student or staff member you want to say BOO to on Halloween – Friday 10/31.
