Unified Track practice will be held in the main gym today 

 

 

ALL STUDENTS – Please make sure you take a look at your email regarding scheduling for next week’s testing.  FRESHMEN – Make sure you bring a fully charged chromebook and your charger, an ID, wired headphones and something to read with you TOMORROW as well. Be prepared to leave all of your belongings outside of your testing room. 

 

warm waffles with awesome yummy toppings will be sold on Monday after school — English Department Relay for Life team will be selling them for $2. 

 

VHS Unified is having their May Community Night is Tuesday, May 17th in the New Cafe! It is Yoga Night – starts at 6:30.

 

German Club will be holding a Bake Sale on Wednesday, May18th in front of the Main Cafeteria.  Proceeds will go to support Tabby’s Place, a local cat sanctuary.

 

“The final gaming club party will be Thursday 5/19 from 3:00-8:00 in the New Cafe.  The cost of admission is $5!”

 

The Girls Lax program is hosting a clothing drive through May 20th.  You can drop off any/all donations in the green bins outside right behind the ticket booth near the softball field. 

 

Juniors – Check your email to make an appointment for your Senior Portraits.  Normandy will be here May 24 through June 2 to take portraits for the 2023 yearbook. 

 

Voorhees is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, May 24 in the Main Gym.  Students 16 or older can donate (16 year olds must have a signed parent permission form to do so).  Please check your email for details and to make an appointment. 

 

Did you know that research has shown a strong link between social media and teen mental health problems? This is why it’s important to take a break from your screen! Go for a walk, listen to music, color or spend some quality time with your family instead. 

 

Coming up this week for Mental Health Awareness Month, join Ms. Lanzilotta in the Media Center all day on Friday for a make your own stress ball workshop!
