All Study Halls will report to the New Cafe this week as the Music Department is making final preparations for their winter concerts in the Auditorium. 

Calling all Math-a-letes!  The 3rd NJ Math League Contest is being held on Monday 12/11 – Wed 12/13.  The contest closes promptly at 3 pm, so be sure to log into the Google Classroom and complete the contest on the Google Form.

Math SAT & ACT help meets EVERY MONDAY after school  in room 340 with Ms. Wieteszka

English SAT & ACT help meets EVERY MONDAY after school in room 225 with Mr. Crane

The VHS Music Department has some performances coming up THIS WEEK:

TOMORROW is the  WINTER INSTRUMENTAL CONCERT featuring Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble & String Ensemble.  THURSDAY is the WINTER CHORAL CONCERT featuring Concert Choir, Freshmen Choir, Madrigals & Show Choir.  Both shows are in the Auditorium at 7pm and are free admission. 

Images meets every WEDNESDAY in the Media Center with Mr. Crane & Ms. Beneszewski

Next Spanish Club meeting: Wednesday, December 13th afterschool in room 257. 

The newly approved Art Club is going to have an interest meeting on Wednesday 12/13 after school in the art room – 243. 

The Voorhees Outdoor Pursuits Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday December 13th in room 247 after school. The OPC is for anyone interested in activities such as rock climbing, adventure courses, hiking, and more. See Mr. Makoski for more info or if you are interested but can’t make the meeting. ALL are welcome. 

Sophomores and Juniors – If you’d like to take a course at Hunterdon County Polytech next school year, the early decision deadline to enroll is Friday, December 15th.  Applications received after December 15th will be considered as rolling admissions.  Please check your email or see your counselor for more information. 

Key Club has their annual Cookie Walk this Friday from 2:30-3:30 in the Mall area and Saturday from 8-12 in the Main Cafe.  You can get a small bag of homemade cookies for $5 and a large bag for $10. 

There are just a couple of gift tags on the giving tree in the main office.  Please come get one before they are all gone!  Remember the following instructions:

1) take a tag

2) sign the spreadsheet

3) purchase the gift(s)

4) wrap the gifts

5) return the wrapped gifts by Friday Dec 15 in the main office

Video Club will be having a general interest meeting after school on Monday 12/18 in room 245.  Reach out to Mrs. O’Halloran with any questions. 

The Black Student Union will have their first meeting after school on Monday Dec. 18 in room 321, if you are interested and have questions, reach out to Audrey Devine or just show up at Monday’s meeting. 

Student Council is hosting a Holiday Peppermint Shake sale on Wednesday 12/20 after school  in the Mall area.  Cost is $3 for a small and $5 for a large.
