ATTENTION SENIORS:
The Meyerhoff Scholars Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is currently accepting nominations. Applicants must have:
*at least a B average in college preparatory math/science courses
*outstanding SAT scores
*a genuine interest in science
*plan to pursue doctoral studies in (Ph.D. or the combined MD/Ph.D) in a STEM field
The Meyerhoff Scholars Program awards range from $10,000-22, 000 per year for out of state students.

Financial Aid Night – October 11th 7 PM in the auditorium all parents/students are welcome- scholarships and financial aid process will be discussed
Attention all skiers and snowboarders. The VHS Ski and Snowboard Club are hosting meetings about our upcoming trips to Camelback and Killington Vermont. Please attend one of the meetings for information. Meetings are October 10th, 11th, and 15th at 2:30 in room 144.
Current SPANISH members in the WLHS, New inductees have been nominated and invited to attend their first meeting: Therefore, we will have a mandatory meeting next Thursday 10/11 at 2:30 in room 258. If you cannot attend, please let Sra. Calvache know ASAP by EMAIL
