Today, May 6th is Lunch Hero Day. This day is to recognize the many cooks and lunch aids that prepare meals for schools. The staff at Voorhees prepares over 600 meals everyday. Please stop by the cafeteria to thank them.
Those of you take bus route 22 to and from school, you need to take bus route 1 this afternoon due to a driver shortage. Again, those that take route 22 home please take route 1 home this afternoon.

The school store is featuring some new items and they’ve also restocked some best sellers. Just a reminder that the school store is in the New Cafe and is open during L1 & L2
Those of you attending prom – please check your email for the table forms. They are due to Mrs. Grodkiewicz in the Ceramics room by 5/11. If you don’t hand in a form a table will be selected for you.
Seniors – check your email for some information and permission slips for this year’s Senior Trip regarding the Dinner Cruise (May 19) and trip to Great Adventure (May 20). Please reach out to a member of the Class of 2022 class council, Mrs. Hance or Mrs. Smith with any questions. Hardcopies of the forms are on the table outside Mrs. Pennucci’s office. Forms and payment can be given to Mrs. Hance in room 337 or the Main Office in the box marked for Senior Class Trip. The deadline is Monday, May 9.
Juniors – Check your email to make an appointment for your Senior Portraits. Normandy will be here May 24 through June 2 to take portraits for the 2023 yearbook.
The French club will be meeting in room 256 Monday 5/9 after school to discuss their final bake sale of the year on Wednesday May 11.
The Girls Lax program is hosting a clothing drive through May 20th. You can drop off any/all donations in the green bins outside right behind the ticket booth near the softball field.
The Varsity Baseball will be playing their Senior Night at Somerset Patriots Stadium on 5/14 at 7 PM. Come out and support our seniors. Find Mr. Kent or a player for tickets. $10 apiece.
Congrats to the girls golf team who finished second in the Skylands Golf Championships.\ yesterday. It was a great team effort with all 4 players Kavya, Sam Kate and Leah playing outstanding rounds.
Today’s music theme contest winner was JT Yoon. Today’s theme was the opening of the new Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness movie that opens today/last night.
