Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-led group that provides a safe, welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. GSA promotes a culture of acceptance and provides support by fostering community, educating about LGBTQ+ issues, and advocating for an inclusive school environment to combat homophobia and transphobia. Research shows that schools with GSAs experience improved student health, reduced discrimination, and increased feelings of safety and school connectedness forLGBTQ+ students.
