Teacher Biography
Alida Greendyk
This is my 18th year as a Special Education teacher at North Hunterdon. After raising my daughters I returned to school and in May of 2009 earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and my teaching certification in Social Studies K-12, as well as my Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification. I also have a Master’s degree in Special Education from Centenary College. I am highly qualified in History, English and Science, and this year I am teaching the LLD Science class and Pullout Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am an ICR teacher for two CP Physics classes as well.
I have two daughters, 33 and 30. Both of my daughters were recently married. For the past 35 years I have been breeding and showing Leonbergers, a rare breed of dog originating in Germany, and I share my home with seven of these dogs.
