1) Are you interested in trying out for the Varsity Dance Team? If so, come to our pre-tryout clinic today from 3:15 – 4:15 in the Gold Gym. You will receive audition information and learn a short dance routine. Please see Mrs. Harty or Ms. Kiehl with any questions.
2) The first game club meeting will be held today in room 125 after school. See Mr. Mckinnon for more information.
3) Attention juniors, anyone interested in Powder Puff flag football should attend an interest meeting in Room 153 after school on Wednesday, Sept. 16th. If you cannot make the meeting or have questions, reach out to Mrs. Exley or Mrs. Luick.
4) Habitat for Humanity will be having its first meeting on Wednesday, 9/16 after school in room 232. New members are welcome to join us and see what this Service Club is all about! Please email Mrs. Klingaman with any questions.
5) The Fall Math SAT review class will have our first session on Wednesday, September 16. We will be in room 154 from 2:30-4.
6) North’s art club will have its first meeting next Wednesday, September 16th after school in room 132! If you’re interested in art or meeting new creative people, come join us! Snacks will be provided.
7) Student Council will meet this Thursday, Sept 17th in room 156 after school.
8) A representative from Lafayette College will be at North on Thursday, Sept. 17th, from 10:45-11:45. If you are interested in meeting with her, please see Ms. Fisher in Counseling.
9) There will be a brief girls’ basketball interest meeting on September 17th in room 130 immediately after school. If you can not make it, please reach out to Coach Matisak, Coach Furman, or Coach Thorsen for information.
10) Are you interested in being a part of the stage crew or tech booth for the fall play? If so, come to our interest meeting on Thursday, Sept. 17th at 2:30pm in the theater. No previous experience is required! If you have any questions, email Mrs. Hopta.
11) Interested in fashion, styling, design, sewing, or just being creative? Fashion Club is happening! Come see what it’s all about this year! Our first meeting is Wednesday, September 23 after school in Room 228. Parents/guardians must register students through Aspen.
12) Get ready for Midnight in Paris! Join us for the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 3rd from 6-9pm. Tickets are $25 through Sept. 22nd, then increase to $35. Purchase your tickets through BookTix. There will be no admittance allowed after 7pm!
13) Congratulations to the members of the Boys Cross Country team on their performances this past Saturday at the Thompson 2-miler Class Race. Our Junior team placed 2nd and our Freshman team won their event. Special congratulations to the following who placed in the top 10 in their races: Cole Kober (who won the senior race), Evan Schmidt, Carter Tuxhorn, and Lucas McCabe.
