1) Join Polytech alum (class of 2016) chef Jeff Pettinger for a culinary arts trade talk Q & A for the January program, “Trade Talk & Taste” in the Media Center during L1 & L2 on Wed, 1/28. With assorted dessert bars.
2) The Muslim Student Association will have its first official meeting this Wednesday, January 28th at 2:30pm in room 220 at 2:30pm. Come join us to find out more about MSA and plan our future activities. If you need more information, contact Senora Morris.
3) There will be an ESL Buddies Club meeting on Wednesday, January 28th after school in Room 224. We will be playing games! Bring a friend! See Mrs. Naples with any questions.
4) The next Computer Science Club meeting will be February 2nd at 2:30 in room 212.
5) The boy’s tennis pre-season meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 4 at 2:30 in room 156. Anyone interested in trying out must attend the meeting. If you cannot make it, please contact Coach Niznik or coach West.
6) Testing Dates for the Seal of Biliteracy are: Monday, February 2nd – Periods 4-6 (or until 3:10) and Tuesday, February 3rd – 7:45 – L1 (eat lunch during L2). Testing will take place in the Media Center; report immediately to the Media Center for the test time. Do not check into class. Bring a fully charged Chromebook and wired earbuds.
7) An RVCC Enrollment Coach will be visiting North on Thursday, February 5 for an Application Session. This session is open to seniors ONLY – and will be held in the Media Center from 9:43-10:38 AM. Please be sure to bring your chromebook. Seniors, submit your transcript release form and sign-up with Ms. Fisher in Counseling before the date. Any questions, see Ms. Fisher in Counseling!
8) Juniors – have you bought your ticket for this year’s prom yet? This is the LAST WEEK to get a ticket at the discounted price – don’t delay, buy today! Ticket prices increase on February 1st. See Mrs. Luick or Ms. Baratta if you have any questions.
9) Congratulations to the girls swim team for an amazing victory! They took 1st place at the Hunterdon Warren Sussex Championship over the weekend and have qualified for the Meet of Champions!
10) A big congrats to Lela Backer as she is the current 4H Equestrian of the Year. She represented the 4th Equine Program at the Northeast Agricultural Expo.
