7) The atmosphere was electric at the North-Panthers Unified basketball matchup last night. While the Lions fought hard, the Panthers took the win with a 51–36 final score. Despite the outcome, the energy in the Den was unmatched. The Lions were led by an offensive explosion from Andrew Baucom, who dominated the glass with a team-high 13 rebounds. The team showed incredible heart in the paint, with Meredith Nuzzo grabbing 12 boards and Sean ‘Shaq Diesel’ Pettegrove powering through for 10 points. Bettina ‘Bat Girl’ Manasseri-Castro added a solid 8 points, while Jamie ‘Luck of the Irish’ Sullivan chipped in 6. We also saw massive hustle from Lucy Sklar and Elsa Boyer, who combined for 15 rebounds, along with key contributions from Amber Wronski, Colin ‘Rewind the Tape’ Tran, Maria ‘Storm’ Sousa, Aliya ‘A-Train’ Bello, Carly ‘Xena Warrior Princess’ Moore, and Molly Cokeley. Make sure you’re here to roar for the pride again on January 28th as we host the West Morris Mendham Minutemen at 4:00 PM. Let’s go, Lions!
