1) Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country team on winning the NJSIAA State Sectional on Saturday.
2) In honor of Veterans Day, Patriotic Youth and Rho Kappa are holding a Winter Sock and Hat Drive for homeless veterans in NJ. Help us reach our goal of collecting warm, new socks and hats for the estimated 762 veterans in need! Drop off donations now through Friday, November 14th in any Social Studies classroom, at the front of the school, or in front of the theater. See Mr. Phillips or Mrs. Niznik with questions.
3) Please support the Thanksgiving Food Drive and bring in non-perishable items such as canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, sauces, peanut butter and jelly and much more. These items go directly to our North Hunterdon School District families.
4) All Seniors: Rider University will be on campus the morning of Tuesday, November 11th, for Instant Decision Day! Please check your email for more details.
5) To all the wrestlers who will be signing up this winter: Hydration testing for the boys will be held today Monday, November 3rd, after school in the nurse’s annex. Girl wrestlers will do hydration testing on Tuesday, November 18th. If you are a returning wrestler, please check your Smart Pass app for a designated time slot to complete your test. Any questions, please see Kristen in the training room after school.
6) Key Club will be having a meeting Wednesday November 5th after school. We will be working on the Thanksgiving Food Drive.
7) The Mindfulness Club is having a meeting during L2 on Wednesday, November 5th, in room 150. All are welcome, so bring a friend. For any questions, contact Mr. Krebs.
8) Mock Trial will meet today after school in room 241.
9) Come to the mall after school tomorrow and Wednesday for tasty baked goods from the Red Cross Club’s Bake Sale. Hope to see you there!
10) Come to the Media Center Conference Room during L1 & L2 Wednesday, 11/4 for “Words of Gratitude” and make a thank you card for a local veteran. The cards will be delivered to Spruce Run Memorial VFW Post 5119 in Glen Gardner.
