2)Trying out for the Varsity Dance Team? Tryouts begin Wednesday, October 22nd after school in the green gym. Winter sports registration is NOW OPEN on Aspen. Please see Mrs. Harty for an audition packet, and make sure to submit all necessary paperwork.

4) All Seniors: Rider University will be on campus the morning of Tuesday, November 11th, for Instant Decision Day! You must have a GPA of 82% or higher. Apply by November 8th if you haven’t already. Submit a transcript release form to your counselor. See Ms. Fisher or your counselor to set up an appointment. Check your email for more details.
5) Join Mrs. Fortugno for SAT English prep this Tuesday, 10/21 in Rm. 015 from 2:30-4:30. There will also be a session next Friday, 10/24. Join us next week for SAT Prep if you’re taking the November Exam or to brush up on concepts before Wednesday’s PSAT!
6) Girls’ Winter Basketball will have an introductory meeting on Tuesday, October 21st, right after school in Room 130. If you can’t attend but are interested, please see or email Coach Matisak, Coach Furman, or Coach Thorsen.
7) ASL Club will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, in Room 010 right after school.
8) The girls fencing team is looking for students who are interested in trying a new sport. More than 75% of the team starts fencing during their freshman year, and we are looking for you! 11) Congratulations to the Golden Lions Marching band for rating Silver based on festival guidelines, along with a few other bands. We also got recognized for outstanding soloist writer Ryder Roberts on saxophone and recognized for a colorguard feature at the 37th Annual (NJMEA) New Jersey Music Educators Association band festival at Wayne Hills H.S. tonight. Great job by all the students and staff!!
