2) Attention all boys interested in trying out for the basketball team this year: There will be a brief informational meeting on Wednesday, October 15th in the Freshman Health Room at 2:30 PM. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Rehrig, Mr. Ruscher, or Mr. Barnes.
3) Are you interested in swimming on the North team? If so, there will be a Boys and Girls Swim Team Interest Meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:30 PM in Room 217.
4) There will be a meeting for all girls interested in competing for the Winter Track & Field team on Thursday, October 16th at 2:30 PM in Room 135A.
5) The next Computer Science Club meeting will be Thursday, October 16th, in Room 212 right after school.
6) The Ice Hockey team will have a preseason meeting on Thursday, October 16th right after school in the library. Please email Coach Martori if you have any questions or cannot attend.
7) Friendship Day forms are now available! Please go to Mrs. Marron’s room, 001. The sign-up forms are located on the table outside the room. Forms are due Friday, October 17th.
8) Are you taking the SAT in November? Join Mrs. Fortugno for SAT English prep this Friday, 10/17 and next Friday, 10/25 in Room 015. We will meet from 2:30pm-4:30pm. See you there!
9) ASL Club will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, in Room 010 right after school.
10) Calling all North Girls! The girls fencing team is looking for students who are interested in trying a new sport. More than 75% of the team starts fencing during their freshman year, and we are looking for you! There will be a short information meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, held immediately after school in Cafeteria B. Please reach out to Coach Millhiser or Coach Semanchik if you have any questions.
11) A team meeting for Boys’ Fencing will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 2:30 PM in Room 125. This meeting is for all returning team members AND any students interested in joining the team. Please see Mr. McKinnon with questions or for additional information.
12) Congrats to the NHV Gymnastics team for a solid showing at the Skylands competition last Friday! A big shout out to Truth Aponte for placing first on the Vault, tying for 6th on floor competition, and placing third all-around! Come check out their last competition this season at Hillsborough this Wednesday night at 4:30 PM!
