1) Any senior that needs to take the NJGPA, please report to the Media Center.
2) Freshmen election packets for Class Officers are now available for pick up or they can be found on the school’s website under the Student Council tab. Hard copies can be picked up from Ms. Allora (in special services) or Mr. Franzyshen (room 238) .
3) Student Council will meet this Thursday in room 150 at 2:30. New members are welcome.
4) Attention Ski & Snowboard Club. All forms and the bus payment are due this Friday, October 10th . See Mrs. Jones or Mrs. Vida with any questions.
5) Are you interested in swimming on the North team? If so, there will be a boys and girls swim team interest meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:30 in rm 217.
6) Friendship Day forms are now available. Please go to Mrs. Marron’s room 001, where the sign-up forms are located on the table outside the room. Forms are due Friday, October 17th
7) Calling all freshman and sophomore girls! A pre-season girls fencing meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd in Cafe B immediately after school. Everyone is welcome to attend; no previous experience is required. Please reach out to Coach Millhiser or Coach Semanchik if you have any questions.
8) A team meeting for Boys’ Fencing will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 2:30 PM in Room 125. This meeting is for all returning team members and any students interested in joining the team. Please see Mr. McKinnon with questions or for additional information.
9) Northern Lights Art and Literary Magazine is now accepting submissions. Please email your original artwork and poetry to northernlights@nhvweb.net to be considered for the 2026 magazine. Please see Mrs. Rhoads or Mr. Shoemaker with any questions.
