1) Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this winter: there will be a short introductory girls basketball meeting today Wednesday, September 10th at 2:30 in Room 130. If you cannot attend but are interested, please see or email Coach Matisak, Coach Furman, or Coach Thorsen.
2) GSA will be having a meeting today Wednesday, September 10 after school in the Library conference room. All are welcome to come learn about the club and see if you would like to join.
3) The Chess club will meet on Thursdays after school in room 151. All are welcome!
4) Do you like to debate? Are you curious about international relations? Join us for the second Model UN interest meeting! We will be meeting this Thursday, September 11th, in Room 235 immediately after school.If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Niznik.
5) Attention all current and potential NEW members of Spanish Honor Society. We will be hosting a brief meeting Thursday, Sept. 11th to discuss all of the requirements for applying to the Spanish Honor Society this year. The meeting will be held in room 220 at 2:30pm. Hope to see you! Please email Senora Morris if you have any questions or cannot attend.
6) The first Computer Science Club meeting will be Thursday, September 18th at 2:30 in room 212.
7) North’s offering 2 great Fall intramural programs. Weight room and a NEW 3 on 3 Intramural Basketball league. Registration is open in ASPEN.
8) Are you interested in auditioning for the North Hunterdon Jazz ensemble? Sign ups are posted outside room 124. Audition dates are on September 10 and 11. See Mr. Carroll for details.
9) Are you interested in taking voice lessons or instrumental lessons? Private lessons are available to add to your schedule! Scan the QR code on the posters around the school to sign up by Sept. 12th! All levels are welcome!
10) Do you like music? Do you love school spirit? Come hang with the Golden Lions Marching Band at our next home game, Friday September 12th, while we eat pizza, make music and cheer for the football team! No experience necessary; see any member of the Golden Lions – or Mr. Hopta – for more information.
11) The Fall Math SAT review class will have our first session on Monday, September 15th. We will be in room 154 from 2:30-4pm.
12) Love fashion? Join us Wednesday, September 17th after school in Room 228 for our first Fashion Club meeting! Parent permission in Aspen is required. Google Classroom code: 5fzvqqt.
13) There will be an Interest Meeting for Stage and Tech Crew for the Fall Show on Wednesday, September 17th in the theater promptly at 2:30. If you are interested in running lights and sound, helping out backstage with set building, props, and more, come to the meeting to find out more!
