7 North students attended the 85th New Jersey Youth and Government conference this past weekend, taking top honors by winning the award for best delegation in the State. Zoe Jenkins-Hiscox presided over the conference as Youth Governor and was selected to attend a nation wide conference on national affairs. Anna Huang was recognized for working collaboratively to identify ways to increase voter turnout in the state. Additionally, Anya Karnani, Christian Schmidt, Leona Joys, Sofia Kafarski, and Max Sklar engaged in lively debates around a number of bills helping to bring top honors to our delegation.
Congratulations to the Boys Track team on its performance this weekend at the Skyland Conference Relays.
Special congratulations go out to Brody Sible and Gabe Letko on winning the high jump relay…with Brody taking 1st place overall.
Special congrats also goes out to the 4×800 relay of Conor Brand, Chase Kober, Cole Kober, and Eric Beswick for taking first place in the big school division.
