Today is Veterans Day honoring all those who have served in the US military. It occurs on November 11 every year in the United States in honor of the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918 that signaled the end of World War I.
• There will be a short informational meeting for National Social Studies Honor Society today, in room 234 at 2:30. Please see Mr. Yocum with any questions.
• Ski Club Bus money is due tomorrow. Please see Google Classroom for payment information.
• Girl Up is hosting a handmade bracelet and bake sale after school in the courtyard today. Money raised supports local girls and young women around the world who may be struggling or who find themselves in difficult situations. Come grab a snack or start your Holiday shopping early!
• This month, GSA will be meeting today and next Thursday in Rm 12 in the English basement after school. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Stell or Ms. Waller. All are welcome!
• Northern Lights Literary Magazine will meet today in room 015 from 2:30-3:00. We hope to see you there!
• Tonight’s the night! Live theater returns to North with Mrs. Hopta’s directorial debut as the students perform “Night Chills,” a series of short stories written by Edgar Allan Poe.
