Congratulations to Tom Schumacher for being named the LehighValleyLive Baseball Player of the week. The senior third baseman/pitcher was 7-for-8 at the plate in the Lions’ 2-1 week. Schumacher, a Lehigh University recruit, was 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double, triple, drove in eight runs and scored three in a 13-6 triumph over West Morris Central. Two days later he was 3-for-3 and scored twice in a 10-7 victory over Ridge.
