Girls   Indoor Track:
Hurdler of the year: North Hunterdon’s Morgan Harvey placed   third in the 55 hurdles (8.42) at the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4   Championships on Feb. 8 and finished fourth (8.22) at the Meet of Champions   on March 1.

Trevor Knowles is West Jersey’s top indoor track athlete. Knowles, who won the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 pole vault (13-6) and the state Group 4 pole vault (14-6), had a personal best of 14-9 heading into the M of C.

Swimmer of the year Robert Spichiger:
When Robert Spichiger was searching for a confidence boost for a trip abroad to compete in the Swiss Junior Nationals – the North Hunterdon sophomore holds dual citizenship, for the United States and Switzerland – he needed look no further for motivation than his performance in the NJSIAA Meet of Champions earlier in March.

Wrestling:
North Hunterdon’​s Tim Flynn is The Star-Ledge​r’s West Jersey Coach of the Year. Fifth-year coach Tim Flynn’s squad defied the conventional wisdom and put together a sensational campaign. The Lions were 18-3 in dual meets, including a streak of 13 straight triumphs at one point, and reached the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 semifinals. Perhaps more importantly, North won the mythical Hunterdon County regular season title by sweeping county foes Delaware Valley, Voorhees and Central for the first time in a decade.
