National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Make a difference! Spread the word about mammograms and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved.
Below are the activities the Athletic Department will be doing to make people aware:
- The Varsity Girls Soccer team will be wearing pink shirts on their October 8th game against Phillipsburg HS.
- The North and Plainfield HS Football teams will be wearing pink shoe laces, wrist bands, etc on their October 9th game against Plainfield HS.
- The varsity Field Hockey team will be wearing pink shirts on their October 22nd game against Warren Hills HS.
- The Singley Field turf will have pink outlined on the field.
- The Cheerleaders will be using Pink Pom Poms during the month of October.
