North Hunterdon miler Gavin Richards adds freshman national title to 2017 success

North Hunterdon’s Gavin Richards was a surprise winner at the North 2, Group 4 sectional meet then solidified his breakout season by winning the freshman mile last weekend at New Balance Nationals. 
Richards was 10th with one lap to go but made a huge move to pass nearly the entire field and finish in 4:25.19.
