Madeline Wolf recorded a hat trick for fifth-seeded North Hunterdon in a 4-1 win over top-seeded High Point in the semifinals of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Girls Soccer Tournament in Sussex.
It was the second multi-goal game for Wolf in the tournament, after she scored both goals in a 2-1 win over fourth-seeded Pope John in the quarterfinals. Wolf now has a team-leading 17 goals this season. Freshman Rebecca Fluchel scored the other goal, putting her right behind Wolf with 16 goals this season.
North Hunterdon advanced to face second-seeded Hunterdon Central in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Girls Soccer Tournament Championship on Saturday 10/29 at Warren Hills HS at 1pm.
