ANNANDALE — Maggie Swan was stellar, firing a three-hit shutout, walking two and striking out 11, as her batterymate, senior catcher Melissa Meiners, led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a double, homer and three RBIs to lead a nine-hit attack that lifted the top-seeded Lions to their first sectional final since 2014 with a 5-0 victory over fifth-seeded J.P. Stevens at North Hunterdon High School. The Lions (22-4) advance to play second-seeded Bridgewater in the sectional final on Tuesday.
