ANNANDALE — North Hunterdon High School’s football team will not like all of the numbers that come out of Thursday night.
But there are plenty more that the Lions will enjoy quite a bit.
Numbers like:
20 – their margin of victory against Immaculata.
4 – as in a 4-0 to start the season.
And, 31 – the number of years that have passed since the Lions have opened a season this well.
North Hunterdon, ranked No. 4 by lehighvalleylive, handled Immaculata 27-7 in a Skyland Conference Raritan Division game at Singley Field.
It’s the first time the Lions have started the year with four straight victories since 1986, when they finished 7-2.
