Eliza Filus went 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI to help power North Hunterdon, No. 7 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 10-0 win over Hopewell Valley in Annandale.
Taylor Hucke singled and drove in two runs, while Cate Sand singled, scored and drove in one more. Sophia Callari scored twice. Maggie Swan earned the win, tossing three scoreless innings with just three hits against and two strikeouts. Julia Apsel came in and closed the door in relief, striking out three in two innings of work.
North Hunterdon opened the game with five runs in the first inning and added three more in the second.
Nicole Apai, Meredith Sharp and Kayleigh Crow each had a single.
