Skyland Conference Indoor Track Championship
Girls Highlights:
Congratulations to the Girl’s Track & Field athletes who medaled at the Skyland Conference Championships over the weekend. Maddy Wolf(800 meters), Anna & Ellie DiMarcello(1600 meters), and the 4X400 meter relay team of Anna DiMarcello, Ellie DiMarcello, Carmen King, and Gabby Beneducci. Great job girls!
Boys Highlights:
Eric Moul – Second place – High hurdles – 7.81, Ray Sellaro – Fourth place – 800m – 2:04, Our team finished ninth- 12 points.
Eric Moul’s time was only 0.01 behind the winner. That is one of the top times in the state this winter. Ray Sellaro’s finish in the 800m is remarkable because Ray has just recently been able to train due to an injury suffered during XC season. Beyond these two place winners, we had several boys run their personal or season’s best at Jersey City. We field a very young team in terms of years and experience so we’re most concerned with seeing improvement. Great job guys!
