Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
The Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is a volunteer group made up of parents, staff and students who come together to help support the school and enhance experiences our students have while at VHS. Our volunteers and fundraising efforts directly affect the VHS community.
The PTSO raises funds for:
Student of the Month Awards * Staff Appreciation * Project Graduation * Senior Scholarship Awards

We would love for you to join us as we strive to do even more for VHS students this year! We meet once a month, usually the second Monday of the month, at 7 PM in Room 135. Our meetings give you the opportunity to receive the most up to date information on PTSO and school events directly from the PTSO board and VHS administration. Everyone is welcome! Please join us!
Becoming a PTSO member is just a $10 donation to our group, which we put towards funding the many things we do through the year. Being a PTSO member does not require you to attend meetings or volunteer (although we hope you do). Please visit the Membership tab above for the current membership form and return it to the school with your tax-deductible donation!
Membership dollars go a long way, but do not come close to the amount needed to fund all we set out to do. Fundraising throughout the year is necessary. Project Graduation alone requires about $28,000 to offer a FREE fun-filled evening to our graduating seniors. We hope we can count on you to help us reach our fundraising goals.
